2019 Legislative Session

The Maryland General Assembly 2019 Session began at noon on January 9th and adjourned on April 8th. The End-of-Life Option Act had been introduced in both the House (HB 399) and Senate (SB 311). Hearings were held and votes taken in both chambers. HB 399 passed in the House with a vote of 74 to 66 with 1 Delegate absent from the session. SB 311 tied in the Senate (23 to 23) with 1 Senator abstaining from voting.
